Quick Flow

Quick note

All crop growth is affected by season, solar terms, and environment.

  1. Get Tea SeedsTea Seeds from world loot chests, then plant them on farmland.
  2. Wait for the tea tree to mature, then harvest Fresh LeafFresh Leaf (buds/leaves).
    • Extra: harvested Fresh LeafFresh Leaf has random quality and quantity.
  3. Wither Fresh LeafFresh Leaf on a campfire to get matching withered leaves.
    • Note: in rain, make sure the campfire is covered from above, or it may turn into Wet Tea LeafWet Tea Leaf.
  4. Pan-fire: smelt withered leaves into Green LeafGreen Leaf.
  5. Process tea: choose a route (mortar / fermentation / drying) to get the tea leaf you want. See "Harvest & Primary Processing" below.
  6. Make tea bags: Empty Tea Bag + matching tea leaf x6 -> matching tea bag. See "Tea Bags, Kettles, and Cups" below.
  7. Prepare kettle and water: craft a kettle blank and fire it into an empty kettle; fill a water pot and boil it. See "Tea Bags, Kettles, and Cups" below.
  8. Brew a kettle: Tea Bag + Empty Kettle + Boiled Water Pot -> finished kettle (returns tea residue). See "Tea Bags, Kettles, and Cups" below.
  9. Pour and drink: Finished Kettle + Any Cup -> cup drink (returns empty cup after drinking). See "Tea Bags, Kettles, and Cups" below.
  10. Recycle: any tea residue x2 -> Baking Powder x1 (feeds back into fermentation). See "Tea Residue System" below.

Rice & Paddy Line (new)

1) Two-stage planting flow

  • Stage 1 (normal farmland): plant Rice SeedRice Seed on normal farmland to raise seedlings, then harvest Rice SeedlingRice Seedling.
  • Stage 2 (paddy transplant): transplant Rice SeedlingRice Seedling into Paddy FieldPaddy Field for continued growth.

2) Paddy field behavior

  • Paddy FieldPaddy Field can be placed, broken, and recovered as item drop.
  • Bucket interactions are restricted: empty buckets cannot pick it up, and water buckets cannot refill it again.
  • The field uses shallow-water visuals (mud base + water surface) with water-like interaction sounds.

3) Harvest and processing

  • Mature rice plants now drop only Rice SeedRice Seed (not direct RiceRice).
  • Processing recipe: Wooden Mortar & PestleWooden Mortar & Pestle + Rice SeedRice Seed -> RiceRice.

  • Baking PowderBaking Powder x1 + Fully Fermented Tea LeafFully Fermented Tea Leaf x1 -> Deep Fermented Tea LeafDeep Fermented Tea Leaf x1

Notes:

  • Basic source of Baking Powder: 2 Wheat -> 1 Baking Powder.
  • The mortar is a durability tool, not one-time use.

4) Drying & Finalization (campfire/furnace/smoker/blast furnace)

  • Processing stations: Campfire / Furnace / Smoker / Blast Furnace
  • Recipe 1: Broken Tea LeafBroken Tea Leaf x1 -> Green Tea LeafGreen Tea Leaf x1
  • Recipe 2: Semi Fermented Tea LeafSemi Fermented Tea Leaf x1 -> Oolong Tea LeafOolong Tea Leaf x1
  • Recipe 3: Fully Fermented Tea LeafFully Fermented Tea Leaf x1 -> Black Tea LeafBlack Tea Leaf x1
  • Recipe 4: Deep Fermented Tea LeafDeep Fermented Tea Leaf x1 -> Puer Tea LeafPuer Tea Leaf x1

All four stations support these 4 recipes; unified times are: campfire 20 s, furnace 10 s, smoker 5 s, blast furnace 5 s (0.1 XP each).

4.1) Fermentation container (brewing stand)

Container: Brewing Stand (type: brewing)

  • Recipe C: container slot Fully Fermented Tea LeafFully Fermented Tea Leaf x1 + ingredient slot Baking PowderBaking Powder x1 -> Deep Fermented Tea LeafDeep Fermented Tea Leaf x1

These 3 recipes form a continuous upgrade chain; each step consumes 1 Baking Powder and outputs 1 next-stage leaf.

Common tips:

  • Fill kettles in batch (e.g. 9 at once) for better efficiency.
  • Pouring is not restricted by cup material.
  • Drinking a cup tea returns the corresponding empty cup.

FAQ

Q: Why can't I craft a specific tea?

A: Confirm the prerequisite chain first (withering / fermenting / drying), then check whether you have Empty Tea BagEmpty Tea Bag x1 and Boiled Water PotBoiled Water Pot x1.

Q: Does the Tea Whisk get consumed?

A: Yes. Tea WhiskTea Whisk loses durability in matcha recipes and breaks at zero durability.

Q: What is tea residue for?

A: Any two Green Tea ResidueBlack Tea ResidueOolong Tea ResiduePuer Tea ResidueWhite Tea ResidueYellow Tea ResidueTea Residue x2 can be recycled into one Baking PowderBaking Powder x1, feeding back into the fermentation chain.
