Server Rules
General Provisions
Core Summary
This chapter defines the legal bottom line and core operational philosophy of the server, emphasizing manual production and the spirit of contract, aiming to maintain a fair and sustainable gaming environment.
- Legal Bottom Line: Players are strictly prohibited from engaging in any behavior that violates the laws of the People's Republic of China. The server will preserve all evidence, and violators will be responsible for the consequences.
- Core Philosophy: This server is a "player-driven diversionary economic and social simulator". The core gameplay is based on manual production, geographical logistics, market trading, and the spirit of contract.
- Purpose of Rules: To maintain a fair and sustainable gaming environment and protect players' time investment and asset security, these rules are formulated. All players are deemed to have read and agreed to comply.
- Scope of Application: Applicable to all behaviors related to the server, including in-game, official community, trading platforms, etc.
- Loophole Handling: If an event occurs that is "not prohibited by law" but causes significant loss and harm to the player community, the management team will hold a rule revision meeting. The revised rules will apply to the event depending on the situation.
- Evidence Requirements: If players need to resolve conflicts based on the rules, they must provide strong evidence (such as logs, replays, etc.) to assist administrators in making correct judgments.
Basic Game Conduct
Core Summary
Cheating, destruction, and malicious harassment are strictly prohibited. The Overworld requires self-protection of property and adherence to residence rules. The Nether is a high-risk area, proceed at your own risk.
General Rules
- Conduct: Insults, provocation, slander, harassment, verbal attacks, and even "doxing" or offline harassment of other players or player groups are strictly prohibited on any platform.
- No Spamming: Spamming or sending a large amount of meaningless content on any platform, causing adverse effects on other players, is strictly prohibited.
- Content Standards: All custom creations (such as naming, map art, descriptions, etc.) are strictly prohibited from containing insulting, aggressive, political, religious, or any other inappropriate symbols and elements.
- No Cheating: The use of third-party software for hacking, cheating, x-raying, etc., which affects game fairness, is strictly prohibited. Any mods, third-party software, or other functions not included in the ClusterGap client are not supported.
- No Full Automation: It is strictly forbidden to build any fully automatic farms, mob grinders, iron farms, etc., that violate the principle of "manual production". If a facility can complete all production steps of an item fully automatically, or players only need to use AFK scripts for simple operations to complete production, the facility belongs to fully automatic facilities (prohibited).
- Trading Restrictions: Villager trading is prohibited.
Overworld
- Self-Protection Obligation: Each player has the obligation to keep their own personal property safe and retain evidence. For property lost in the wild, if evidence identifying the violator cannot be provided, the loss shall be borne by the individual.
- Protect Labor Results: Strictly prohibit destroying others' labor results, including but not limited to: blocks placed by players (buildings, decorations, Redstone components), crops planted (whether mature or not), tamed/named creatures and mounts, items in item frames, and any items stored in containers (chests, shulker boxes, etc.).
- No Theft: Strictly prohibit theft and looting of others' property, including buildings, items, equipment, mounts, and all data information belonging to other players.
- No Harassment: Strictly prohibit unreasonable harassment or attacks on other players. If claiming self-defense, sufficient evidence must be provided.
- Self-Defense: Self-defense should aim to reduce one's own loss. Causing greater loss to others will be regarded as retaliation rather than self-defense.
- Residence Protection: Malicious destruction within 32 blocks around others' residences (such as bombing pits, building meaningless structures, malicious terrain destruction) is strictly prohibited.
- No Traps: Making traps to harm or block other players is strictly prohibited.
- Public Facilities: Large-scale malicious destruction or appropriation of public facilities in the wild of the Overworld is prohibited.
- Claiming Standards: Malicious claiming is strictly prohibited, such as boxing in others' claims, monopolizing important naturally generated structures (Trial Chambers, etc.), or having a claim aspect ratio greater than 4:1. The management will notify the owner to rectify in advance and has the right to forcibly delete the claim.
The Nether
⚠️ High Risk Area
The Nether does not provide any protection for personal property and personal safety. Players entering the Nether are deemed to be fully aware of and agree to bear the possible losses.
- Claim Limits: The server does not allow the creation of claims in the Nether with an area larger than 16x16 or any side length greater than 32. If discovered, the owner will be notified to rectify in advance, and the management has the right to forcibly delete the claim, with losses borne by the owner.
- Cross-Dimension Pursuit: Chasing players who have escaped back to the Overworld while fighting in the Nether is strictly prohibited.
- No Grave Protection: In the Nether, players can open anyone's grave (whether protected or not). Please be responsible for your own safety.
Automation Facilities Definition and Restrictions
Core Summary
Maintain the value of manual production and prohibit zero-cost/low-cost fully automated mass production. Allow some semi-automated and auxiliary facilities.
- Fundamental Purpose: The purpose of prohibiting automated facilities is to prevent players from mass-producing resources at no cost or extremely low cost, maintaining the core concept of manual production.
- Definition of Automation: Any behavior that completes production without player participation, or where players only need to use AFK scripts for simple operations, is considered automated production and is prohibited.
Agriculture Regulations
- Crops Needing Replanting: Automated harvesting and collection of drops (such as wheat, potatoes) are allowed, e.g., using water streams to wash away crops and collecting them with hoppers.
- Crops Not Needing Replanting: Automated harvesting and collection of drops (such as melons, sugar cane) are not allowed, e.g., observer + piston automatic sugar cane harvesting.
- Exceptions: Allowing the use of foxes to automatically harvest sweet berries, and using hopper minecarts for collection.
Animal Husbandry Regulations
- Food Production: Facilities separating adults and babies and automatically killing them (such as chicken cookers, cow cookers) are allowed.
- Egg Collection: Strictly prohibit the use of hoppers or any other means to fully automatically collect eggs.
- Wool Production: Prohibit the use of any fully automatic facilities to automatically shear sheep.
- Bee Production: Allowing the use of campfires to smoke beehives or bee nests, but players must manually collect the products.
Fishery Regulations
- Auto Fishing: Allowing players to use auto-fishing mods (one rod per person) and build automatic collection facilities.
- Fish Farms: Prohibit automated maiming, killing, and collecting naturally generated fish in any way.
Forestry and Mining Regulations
- No Duplication: Prohibit using TNT duplication or other exploits to destroy blocks at no cost (such as tree farms, cobblestone generators).
- Cobblestone Generators: Allow players to AFK mine cobblestone/stone generated by water and lava contact and automatically collect it.
Mob Grinding Regulations
- Regular Spawners: Allow gathering and trapping mobs, but prohibit automatic health reduction. Mobs must be killed by players from a healthy state. Automatic collection of drops is allowed.
- Trials/Raids: Prohibit modifying terrain to trap mobs or prevent them from attacking. Must engage in normal PVE. Flattening the ground is allowed, but invincible covers are prohibited.
- Mob Towers/Witch Huts: Prohibit restricting mob movement or gathering mobs through mechanisms/water streams. Allow flattening the ground to facilitate spawning and building protective walls. Allow special mob grinding places (such as creeper farms) with automatic collection.
Non-Production Automation Regulations
- Super Smelters: Allowed, but fuel must have a cost. Infinite fuel is strictly prohibited.
- Brewing/Crafting: Allow fully automatic brewing stands and auto-crafting facilities.
- Logistics/Sorting: Allow item sorters and minecart logistics systems.
- Offensive Facilities: Allow building Redstone traps and TNT cannons in reasonable areas (such as the Nether).
- Performance Limits: Prohibit advanced Redstone circuits, logic computers, and long-running high-frequency circuits.
- Others: Allow Redstone music facilities. Unlisted facilities are prohibited by default. Please contact management if needed.
Core Economic Rules
Core Summary
Free market, risk at your own peril. Management only intervenes in malicious market manipulation or major breach of contract.
- Market Intervention: Dumping, price suppression, malicious acquisition, etc., are not encouraged. Management will actively intervene upon discovery, and losses will be borne by players.
- Risk Self-Management: All trading, cooperation, and competition behaviors are game content. Normal game risks (such as market fluctuations, contract breaches) are borne by players themselves.
- Spirit of Contract: Contract breaches are handled according to the terms. Players have the obligation to clarify terms.
- Enforcement: Management has the right to enforce approved contract terms.
Social and Conflict Resolution
Core Summary
Encourage communication and autonomy. Reporting violations requires solid evidence.
- Self-Resolution: Encourage resolving disputes through game mechanisms (contracts, arbitration). Administrators do not intervene in ordinary disputes.
- Reporting Evidence: Reporting must provide solid evidence (screenshots, videos). False accusations will be punished.
- Cooperate with Management: Strictly prohibit harassment or obstruction of administrators in performing official duties, and prohibit false reporting.
Violations and Penalties
Core Summary
Violations will be prosecuted, ranging from warnings to bans. Illegal gains will be confiscated.
- Penalty Ladder: Warning → Mute → Rectification → Forced Rectification → Confiscation → Fine → Temporary Ban → Permanent Ban.
- Retroactive Handling: For assets obtained using BUGs or cheats, administrators have the right to trace, confiscate, or clear them.
Disclaimer
Core Summary
Data is protected to the best of our ability. The final interpretation right belongs to the management team.
- Data Responsibility: Regular data backups. For data loss caused by force majeure, the liability limit is to recover as much as possible.
